1. Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of Word Guess Daily Brain Trainer (the “App”), operated by Yohann Taieb. By using the App you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. The Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where Apple’s required terms conflict with these Terms, Apple’s terms control.
2. The App
The App is a word-guessing puzzle game with a free Daily Word, free categories, and optional paid content. It has no ads and no accounts.
3. Jokers (consumable purchases)
Jokers are virtual hints used inside the App. They can be earned by playing or bought in packs. Jokers have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and are stored on your device; deleting the App or resetting the device may remove unused Jokers. Consumable purchases cannot be restored after they are used.
4. Brain Trainer Plus
- Plus Monthly and Plus Yearly are auto-renewing subscriptions. Plus Yearly may include a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you started one.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or from the App’s Settings. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Plus Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks Plus with no renewal.
- Plus includes all categories, extra daily Jokers, and the Daily Word archive. Features may be improved over time.
- Use Restore Purchases to re-activate Plus on a new device with the same Apple Account.
5. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
6. Acceptable use
Do not reverse-engineer, tamper with purchases or Game Center scores, or use the App unlawfully. We may update content, categories, and features at any time.
7. Content credits
English word validation uses SCOWL (Kevin Atkinson). Spanish word validation uses a list derived from Wiktionary, licensed CC BY-SA 3.0.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The App is provided “as is” without warranties to the extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App or purchases in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms; the effective date above will change. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
