1. Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of Video Teleprompter Pro (the “App”), operated by Yohann Taieb. By using the App you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. The Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where Apple's required terms conflict with these Terms, Apple's terms control.
2. The App
The App is a teleprompter and camera for recording yourself while reading a script. The free version records takes of up to 2 minutes with a small watermark. It has no ads and no accounts.
3. Subscriptions
- Pro Monthly, Pro Yearly and Studio Yearly are auto-renewing subscriptions. Pro Yearly may include a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you started one.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or from the App's Settings. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Pro removes the time limit and watermark and unlocks 4K recording, voice-scroll and advanced prompter settings. Studio includes everything in Pro plus the Captions and Remote features. Features may be improved over time.
4. One-time purchases
- Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro with no renewal. Customers who bought the earlier lifetime upgrade keep Pro.
- Captions Pack and Remote Control Pack are one-time purchases that unlock only that feature.
- Use Restore Purchases to re-activate purchases on a new device with the same Apple Account.
5. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
6. Your content
You own your scripts and recordings. You are responsible for having the rights to any script, file, or material you import, read, or record, and for obtaining consent from anyone you film. Your content stays on your device, so please keep your own backups; we cannot recover lost scripts or videos.
7. Acceptable use
Do not reverse-engineer the App, tamper with purchases, or use the App unlawfully. We may update features at any time.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The App is provided “as is” without warranties to the extent permitted by law. Automatic captions and voice-scroll are generated by speech recognition and may contain errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App or purchases in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms; the effective date above will change. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
