1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Yohann Taieb (“we,” “us”) handles information for the iOS app Colorblind Test (formerly “Colorblind Eye Exam Test”, the “App”).
2. Information we collect
None. The App has no backend server, no user accounts, and no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not receive your name, email, location, contacts, device identifiers, test results, or usage data.
3. Data stored on your device
The App saves on your device: the profiles you create (a name and an emoji), your test answers and results, Daily Challenge scores and streaks, settings, an optional clinic or school name for reports, and the identifiers of App Store transactions already credited (so a purchase is never counted twice). This data never leaves your device through us. Deleting the App deletes it. You can also erase it in Settings → Delete all results and profiles.
4. Health information
Color vision results can be sensitive. They stay on your device and are not shared with us, Apple, or anyone else unless you choose to share a PDF report or CSV file yourself through the iOS share sheet.
5. Camera
If you use Color Assist, the App asks for camera access. Camera frames are processed in memory on your device to name the color under the crosshair and to apply color filters. Frames are never recorded, stored, or transmitted. You can turn camera access off at any time in iOS Settings.
6. In-app purchases
Pro subscriptions, the Pro lifetime unlock, the Professional subscription, and single PDF reports are sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes payment and manages subscriptions under Apple’s Privacy Policy. The App only receives a signed confirmation of what you are entitled to; we do not receive your payment information.
7. Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, the App may submit your Daily Challenge level, streak, and achievement progress to Apple Game Center. Test results are never sent to Game Center. Game Center is operated by Apple under its own privacy terms, and you can turn it off in iOS Settings.
8. Children
The App includes a Kids Mode with shapes instead of numbers, intended to be used with a parent or guardian. Because we collect no personal information, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Purchases are subject to Apple’s parental controls (Ask to Buy, Screen Time).
9. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on a server. Local data is fully under your control on your device. We do not sell personal information.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
