1. Who this agreement is for
This Instructor Agreement ("Agreement") is between Yohann Taieb ("the platform") and the dance instructor or school ("you," "instructor") who applies to publish courses on Bachata Dance App (the "App"). By submitting an instructor application, you agree to this Agreement together with the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
2. Your account and profile
Instructor accounts are reviewed and approved by the platform. You agree to provide accurate professional information, to keep your profile current, and to respond to student questions and platform notices within a reasonable time. The platform may decline or revoke instructor status if this Agreement is violated or if content quality or conduct warrants it.
3. Your content and your hosting
You keep all ownership of the videos, text, and materials you publish. You choose where your videos are hosted (for example your own Vimeo account) and you are responsible for keeping them available. You grant the platform a non-exclusive license to stream, display, and promote your courses inside the App for as long as they are published. You may unpublish a course at any time; already-purchased access may remain available to buyers where required.
You represent that you own or have licensed everything in your courses — including music — for commercial online distribution.
4. Free and paid content
You decide which lessons are free previews and which are part of paid courses. Paid courses are sold through the Apple App Store at the price tier you select. The platform may also include your courses in its Premium subscription pool.
5. Revenue and payouts
- Course sales are processed by Apple. Apple's commission (15–30%) is deducted first.
- Of the remaining net revenue, you receive 75% and the platform keeps 25%.
- Premium-subscription revenue is shared through a monthly instructor pool weighted by watch minutes.
- Payouts are made monthly by bank transfer via Stripe once your pending balance reaches $50. Payout timing follows Stripe's schedule for your country.
- Refunds issued by Apple reduce the corresponding payout. You are responsible for your own taxes.
6. Content standards
Courses must be lawful and appropriate for a dance-learning audience. The platform may reject or remove content and may suspend payouts for violations, fraud, or refund abuse. Instructors are responsible for obtaining consent from identifiable people appearing in their videos.
7. Ratings and rankings
Students may rate and review your courses. Ratings and reviews are displayed publicly and feed the App's rankings. The platform removes reviews that are abusive, fake, or off-topic, at its reasonable discretion.
8. Term and termination
This Agreement applies while you are an active instructor. You may leave at any time; accrued payouts up to your exit date are still paid out. The platform may terminate with notice, or immediately for legal violations. Termination does not affect buyers' access to content they already purchased, to the extent technically possible.
9. Changes
The platform may update this Agreement; material changes will be announced in the App and by email. Continued publishing after changes take effect means you accept them.
